Quick facts:

  • The Department issues three types of licence – Technician, trainee and interstate operator
  • A trainee licence is required for people undertaking training with a registered training organisation where they will be applying pesticides under the supervision for a fully qualified technician
  • A trainee licence expires after 12 months while a fully qualified technician licence is valid for 3 years.
